Relationship Management Analyst

The FLX Relationship Management Analyst will play an important role supporting the Relationship Specialist and Platform Relationship (National Accounts) teams.  They will engage directly with FLX Asset Manager and Wealth Manager partners.

The FLX Relationship Management Analyst role will be based in FLX Distribution’s Headquarters in Bernardsville, NJ.  Specific areas of responsibility will include.

Relationship Management Support

  • Provide support to FLX teams working with asset managers and wealth management firms.
  • Assist with the creation of proposals to prospective clients and strategic relationships
  • Work closely with asset manager to ensure quarterly review and accuracy of asset manager community pages
    • Goal of effectively positioning to our growing membership
  • Work closely with platform relationship directors, FLX senior leadership to evaluate interesting reporting trends showing in asset manager User Analytics and/or Activity.
  • Ownership in preparing and coordinating Monthly RAMP reports
  • Assist with Onboarding of new Asset Managers
  • Work closely with our asset manager members to update their quarterly Distribution Speedometer
    • Goal of driving a more thoughtful membership experience
  • Work with Sales Enablement team to ensure all manager contracts are accurately reflected within their Salesforce company contact
  • Work closely with President, Head of Sales, Marketing, and others to ensure timely and accurate updating to asset manager business plans and deliverables
  • Ensure asset manager or investment exchange related data is current and accurately reflected on the FLX public website, the underlying community application and our salesforce instance.
  • FLX Intelligence Exchange
    • Review data and analytics to see trends, assess usage and adoption
    • Working with FLX Marketing Team – create and support monthly Asset Manager update
    • Coordinate Platform Relationship Team data/inputs for the monthly/quarterly perspectives, newsletter, etc.

Research & Analysis

  • Create competitive analyses using Morningstar and other data providers to do research and provide thoughts on product differentiation between asset managers investment capabilities, as well as wealth manager views on the markets.
  • Conduct and collect research with a summarized output from all the major wealth platforms about things such as house views, product launches, platform metrics, etc.
    • What are these firms thinking, saying, and doing? How does that affect FLX?
      • Identify opportunities and/or issues.
    • Analyze sales flows, activity, & third-party data to uncover patterns in sales and activity to better target advisors or firms. How does that affect FLX?
      • Identify opportunities and/or issues.
    • Update FLX Community Pages – proactively researching / seeking out Asset Manager information that may advance the sales effort.
    • Support on data inquiries and requests by leveraging data platforms such as Morningstar, Envestnet, etc.
    • Analyzing the opportunity pipeline and provide suggestions on how to move opportunities through various stages of the sales cycle
    • Curating the opportunity pipeline and KPIs of the platform relationship team
      • Work with team members to ensure all relevant data is accurately reflected
    • Analyze, review, and adapt various member (or potential member) lists to ensure relevancy and accuracy, so that larger digital campaigns can be effectively executed

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Detail oriented, strong research and analytical skills
  • Adept and managing large amounts of information
  • Analytics and Reporting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Eagerness to learn with the ability to excel in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – including Excel, Access, and Word – and Salesforce
